Weekly Classes from Precision Recovery
Stroke recovery classes are a great way to improve your mental and physical health and complement other rehabilitation activities, in which you may be participating. From getting yourself moving again after a spell in the hospital to learning or honing a new skill, PRI offer a range of classes to facilitate recovery. Its also a great way to meet new people, many of whom know exactly how you are feeling, as they on the same journey as you.

Our classes are designed to engage, stimulate and improve your overall well being. They are also a great way to meet new people who are on the same journey as you.

Build cardiovascular resilience and core strength in this group class designed specifically for stroke survivors. The class is held weekly and is delivered by instructors who have specialized training in managing stroke patients. Choose between two class types based on mobility levels. Green is for higher mobility patients and Yellow is for lower mobility patients. Ask your care partner which mobility level is right for you.

Experience the joy of singing with this weekly class designed for stroke survivors with or without Aphasia. This is a group class led by music teachers with many years of experience. No previous singing knowledge or experience required - participation can be active or passive (just turn off your camera/mic if you are shy!)

Make new friends in this weekly online group meeting, which introduces stroke survivors to other people like them whose lives have been affected by stroke. Led by a certified peer mentor, it’s an opportunity to ask questions and socialize in an informal setting.

Join a Restorative Yoga class to access moments of physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. The class focuses on exercises that encourage the body to relax by using tools like pillows and blankets to support body weight. The classes are tailored for stroke recovery and require no previous yoga experience.

Improve your sleep in this group class in which the brain and body are directed into a state of deep relaxation through Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) methods. The virtual class is held weekly and focuses on verbal queues tailored for stroke survivors.
